Academic Staff Information
Academic staff comprise of Professors, Readers, Senior Lecturers and Lecturers on the clinical and the non-clinical salary scales.
Academic staff are required to observe the Charter, Statutes and Ordinances of the University and carry out all orders and regulations of the council.
Academic staff are required to undertake such duties as may be reasonably assigned as appropriate to their grade, by their Head of Department (or delegate), to whom they be responsible.
The University's expectations of the qualities and responsibilities of its academic staff are captured by the concept of the Sheffield Academic.
