Agreeing reviewer/reviewee pairings
Ensure that all staff are paired with a reviewer and are informed of their pairings.
Please note:
- You should consider reasonable requests for alternative pairings, but the pairing has to achieve the outcomes of an SRDS meeting. The individual’s line manager is usually preferable and continuity of pairings from year to year is advisable, as it helps with feedback and objective setting.
- Ensure that reviewers are given (possibly through the HR Adviser) relevant information and advice relating to any of their reviewees currently undergoing informal or formal performance management. Where there are issues of performance it is usually advisable to have the reviewee’s line manager as reviewers.
