SRDS Data Collection
Each department has been sent a spreadsheet for recording participation in SRDS and the assessments of contribution that have been made as part of the SRDS process. The spreadsheet is to be completed and returned to Human Resources.
For each member of staff there are two blank columns to be completed:
- SRDS Held – please indicate Yes or No in every row
- Assessment of contribution – please select one of the three assessment levels for the assessment made by the reviewing manager, after confirmation by the Departmental Review Panel
There is also a Comments column – no comments are required for the return, but you may wish to use this to help with your own record-keeping.

The completed spreadsheet should be returned to srdsdata@sheffield.ac.uk
General notes
Rows cannot be deleted from the spreadsheet, although additional staff may be added at the bottom of the list.
Where a member of staff listed has since left, please still include the assessment level if SRDS was held before he/she left. If no SRDS was held, please simply mark SRDS Held as No.
For probationary staff, you can indicate they have had an SRDS review, as long as they have had a formal probation review.
