Ten top tips to ensure a successful SRDS ‎Review - Reviewee

Before

  1. ‎Ensure you know who your reviewer is. Your Head of Department will ‎determine the reviewer/reviewee pairings.‎
  2. ‎Schedule some time to reflect on your contribution in the last 12 ‎months.‎
  3. ‎Consider how your role fits in with the team/department objectives ‎for the next 12 months. ‎
  4. ‎If you don’t what your departmental objectives are, find out.‎
  5. ‎Provide your SRDS form to your reviewer at least one week in ‎advance of your review meeting.‎

During

  1. ‎The SRDS review is an opportunity to have an open and honest ‎discussion and to seek feedback from your reviewer on your ‎progress.‎
  2. ‎Take the opportunity to discuss your career development, if you ‎wish to.‎
  3. ‎Ensure that you and your reviewer have covered all the areas you ‎wanted to.‎

After

  1. ‎Read through the feedback provided by your reviewer, and ensure ‎you have kept a record of the actions you need to take.‎
  2. ‎Consider having a mid-year review. This will give you and your ‎reviewer a chance to keep track of your progress against the agreed ‎objectives, and to check the agreed objectives are still appropriate.‎
