European Economic Area (EEA) Countries

All nationals from European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland are free to live and work in the UK. This is a list of all the EEA countries:

Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are not members of the European Union (EU) but citizens of these countries have the same rights to enter, live in and work in the United Kingdom as EU citizens.

Croatia joined the EU on 1 July 2013, however it is not yet a member of the EEA.
