The two main schemes are the Universities Superannuation Scheme (for Grades 6 and above) and the University of Sheffield Pension Scheme (for Grades 1 to 5). The NHS Pension Scheme may also be available subject to eligibility. Other pension benefits include immediate life cover for your beneficiaries if you die during service, and (subject to eligibility) ill health retirement benefits if due to long-term illness you are unable to go on working. |

Annual review with your manager through the Staff Review and Development Scheme enables you to focus your work objectives, identify your development needs and receive feedback on your work. It may lead to a recommendation for additional pay for your contribution to the University. |
