The two main schemes are the Universities Superannuation Scheme (for Grades 6 and above) and the University of Sheffield Pension Scheme (for Grades 1 to 5). The NHS Pension Scheme may also be available subject to eligibility. Other pension benefits include immediate life cover for your beneficiaries if you die during service, and (subject to eligibility) ill health retirement benefits if due to long-term illness you are unable to go on working. |
