2010 National Pay Negotiations
As a result of the national pay negotiations for the 2010-11 pay round the University will be implementing a pay increase of 0.4% with effect from 1 August 2010.
This increase will apply to salaries of staff on the University of Sheffield Grading Scheme (Grades 1 to 9), the University of Sheffield Professorial Pay Scheme, and to the Professorial Equivalent Pay Scheme. It does not apply to the salaries of clinical academic staff.
The increase in base pay, where applicable, will be paid in the February 2011 payroll, and will be backdated to 1 August 2010. Other pay elements may be adjusted in the March payroll and backdated to 1 August 2010.

Payments and salary increases resulting from promotions and ECAs will be updated to reflect the new salary scales where appropriate, and will also be paid in the February 2011 payroll.
