Promotions

This approach is recommended for all cases of promotion. Whilst there may be some variation in terms of details of the promotions process within different Faculties/Professional Services the principles for promotion will be adhered to across the University.

Promotions to Personal Chair, and those cases considered for conferment of the title of Reader will need to be further considered by the Readerships & Personal Chairs Committee, a formal Committee under the University’s governance arrangements.
