Shift Allowances

Shift allowances are based on 18% (for rotating shifts) and 11% (for alternating shifts) of Grade 2 point 1.

This gives an hourly rate of 132.5p for rotating shifts and 81.0p for alternating shifts (these figures include the August 2012 national pay award).

Shift allowances are subject to national pay awards.
