Shift Allowances

Shift allowances are based on 18% (for rotating shifts) and 11% (for alternating shifts) of Grade 2 point 1.

This gives an hourly rate of 131.2p for rotating shifts and 80.2p for alternating shifts (these figures include the August 2011 national pay award).

Shift allowances are subject to national pay awards.
