LATEST NEWS!
We are delighted that the University has been shortlisted for a prestigious
Times Higher Education (THE) award - Outstanding Contribution to Leadership Development.
Watch this space for details of the results, which will be announced at the THE Awards ceremony in November!
The Sheffield Leader is leadership development for University staff who lead, or have the potential to lead. Leadership is found across the institution at many levels and in many guises. The Sheffield Leader ensures these leaders have the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed by the University to face the challenges ahead, both internally and externally, and lead others to provide excellence throughout the institution.
Sheffield Leader participants can be nominated for 4 levels which vary in suitability according to an individual’s leadership experience, scope and responsibilities. Embedded within all 4 levels are the principles of the Sheffield Leader which are visible through the Sheffield Leader statement and core themes.
LevelsChoosing the right level of Sheffield Leader is very much down to the individual's experience, current role and of course potential. This section contains information and testimonials from previous participants to help you and your line manager make this decision. |
Nominations processNomination is by line manager only. This section takes you through how you get nominated, or how you can nominate a member of your staff. |
