Who is it for?

This study day is for primary care nurses who work with patients who require contraceptive advice within a primary care setting, who have been in their role for approximately 1 year or more.

Overview of content: 

  • Overview/update of current methods of contraception
  • Update on safe assessment for contraceptive choices
  • Current issues in contraceptive health
  • Case studies from practice

What is it about?

This study day provides an update on current management of contraceptive choices.

How does it enhance practice? 

This study day provides nurses with up to date knowledge of the range of contraception methods and current issues in contraceptive health.

1 x half day study day

Start Date: 17.04.13 (9.30-1.00)
