Welcome

In 2011 ICOSS drew together 10 research Centres from across the Faculty of Social Sciences. The intention is to create an ongoing interdisciplinary dialogue between these Centres focused on particular cross-cutting research themes.

Our current research theme is: "Localization - re-imagining everyday life".

Our question is: What does 'the local' mean today?

This question will be explored through a series of events and research projects during 2011-12.
