Our clinical base is at both the Royal Hallamshire (Infectious Diseases, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology) and Northern General (Renal Medicine) Hospitals. |
Our ResearchOur Academic Units form the core of our research activities. They comprise both academic and clinical academic principal investigators with complementary research interests. Visit our "Research Groupings" section for more information on the extensive variety of research carried out within the department. |
Our TeachingMembers of our department are actively involved in graduate and postgraduate teaching and research and host more than 50 PhD/MD and MSc/BMedSci candidates. Success in the MSc in Molecular Medicine is a good training for beginning a PhD and many of our students have chosen this route. |
