Managing difficult lung disease .....


This year's two-day Difficult Lung Disease meeting continues to focus on challenging respiratory medicine, using case-based teaching to lead onto evidence-based practice. The meeting is aimed at consultants, SpRs, and will be of interest to specialist nurses. Areas we're covering this year include:

Pulmonary hypertension:  idiopathic and chronic thromboembolic

Severe asthma:  diagnosis and management, thermoplasty and immunosuppression

Ventilation:  neuromuscular disease, OSA, obesity

Bronchiectasis:  management, adherence to therapy

HIV and the lung

Cancer:  EBUS, occupational lung cancer



Sessions focus on case-based approaches to real management problems with 'challenge the expert' case presentations and radiology masterclasses

Attendance is limited to 100 places, and early registration is recommended.
Fees:  £40 before 31 July 2012, £80 thereafter. 
Overnight accommodation is available at £36 per night. 

PLEASE NOTE : The venue has changed for the Conference dinner on the 12th September. The new venue will be the Hui Wei, Glossop Road, Sheffield. The cost will still be the same at £25.
