...the Information Desk?The Information Desk is located on Level 1 near the top of the stairs. It is staffed during the day however hours may vary. Click on the link for more information. |
...the Welcome Desk?The Welcome Desk is just inside the front doors, parallel with the entry gates. It is staffed by concierges 24/7. |
...the LPC resource room?The LPC resource room is behind the Information Desk on Level 1 and is available for use by LPC students only. |
...the classrooms?There are 2 classrooms in the IC – one on Level 3 (Classroom 3/D02) and one on Level 4 (Classroom 4/E02). There are also 2 Collaboratories on Level 1. |
...a group room?There are 13 group rooms in the IC varying in size from 3 seats to 10. These can be booked in advance by students via myQuickLinks in MUSE. |
...a silent study area?Levels 2 and 3 are silent study areas without PCs. Levels 5 & 6 are silent study areas with PCs that you can book in advance. |
...the Flexispace?The Flexispace is on Level 4 near the top of the atrium. All of the chairs, tables and screens in the Flexispace are on wheels and can be moved around to suit you. There are wheel-brakes on the tables so you can stop them moving once you've decided where to put them. Please remember to release the brakes before trying to move the tables. |
...lost property?All items found in the IC should be handed to the concierges on the Welcome Desk. If you lose something, please ask the concierges if it has been handed in.Handy Tip: If your property has your username on it, we can let you know it has been found! This is especially useful with USB sticks. |
...a CopyCam and huddleboard?There are 2 copycams and huddleboards in the Flexispace plus a further copycam in Group Room B24 on Level 1. |
...adjustable height study desks?There are 3 adjustable-height study desks located on Level 1 and 0. Staff will be able to confirm their location. They are operated by a winding handle which can be obtained from the Information Desks. |
