Visa information for students from South Africa
All South African nationals who wish to study in the UK will need to apply for a study visa before they are eligible to enter the UK and begin their programme of study.
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number
Once you have accepted and met the conditions of your offer of a study place, we will contact you to issue you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number. This replaces the previous system using Visa Letters. You will need to use this CAS number in your application for a study visa to come to Sheffield.
