Payment of Fees
Postgraduate tuition fee deposit
As places on our courses are competitive, after you accept your offer you will be asked to pay a tuition fee deposit of £1000. Your CAS will only be issued once we have confirmed receipt of your deposit payment. This deposit will be deducted from your tuition fee when you register at Sheffield. More information about this will be sent to you when you receive your offer letter.
Additional tuition fee payments
We recognise that some students want to make additional payment towards their tuition fees in advance of beginning their studies at Sheffield.
We are able to issue you with a receipt for the monies paid which you can use in support of your visa application.
If, for any reason, you are unable to obtain a study visa to come to the UK, the University of Sheffield will refund any monies you have paid. Please note that you will be required to submit a copy of your visa refusal notice in order for a refund to be considered.
