Temiloluwa Adebayo
Temi graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2009 with an LLB Law.
From the moment I met the University of Sheffield representative who came to my college in Lagos, I fell in love with the University. On arrival at Sheffield, nothing fell short of my expectation.
The environment was so wonderful. Sheffielders, as they are called, are such friendly and welcoming people. Sheffield is a peaceful city and also very safe. I was so excited to find that my local Church in Nigeria had a branch here too.
My department, Law, had wonderful tutors who strived hard to make learning as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. The one to one attention I got from my lecturers was so invaluable to me.
There were loads of fun things to do at the University. I used to take Salsa classes at the Students' Union once in a while and I was also a member of the gym at USport, which has wonderful equipment.
I had the opportunity to make friends from every single continent. There is lots to do to make the most of your time in Sheffield. From sports to religion to drama to music, there is a place for everyone at the University of Sheffield.
