Student Societies for students from Hong Kong

Hong Kong students play a major role in many of the national, cultural, social and sporting societies at Sheffield.

The University of Sheffield Hong Kong Society

The Hong Kong Society was established in 2004. A wide range of activities are organised throughout the year including Friday Film nights, Mahjong sessions, Karaoke Singing, Card Games & Poker Socials. Shopping trips to different shopping outlets around the UK are also held regularly to fit the needs of typical Hong Kong people—shopping crazy! The society is also active in participating in the Union events at the University, such as the Freshers´ Fair, the Intro Fiesta, the World Food Festival and the International Cultural Evening.
