Visa information for students from Singapore

All Singaporean nationals who wish to study in the UK will need to apply for a study visa before they are eligible to enter the UK and begin their programme of study.

You can receive visa counselling from our official representative of the University of Sheffield in Singapore. The counsellors will advise on all the necessary paperwork and documentation you will need in order to apply for your visa.

Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number

Once you have accepted and met the conditions of your offer of a study place, we will contact you to issue you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number. This replaces the previous system using Visa Letters. You will need to use this CAS number in your application for a study visa to come to Sheffield.
