United States Federal Student Loan Program
The University of Sheffield, as an approved school participating in the US Federal Loan Program, is responsible for confirmation of a student's status at Sheffield.
The University will confirm the loan period (i.e. duration of studies in any academic year) and the amount of loan required for living costs and tuition at Sheffield.
As an international school, the University of Sheffield does not have direct access to the online database where applications are processed, instead we rely on e-mail attachments, fax and regular mail to correspond with the loan providers in the United States.
