Scholarships for students from Colombia
Listed below are the scholarships the University was pleased to offer to students from Colombia who showed exceptional academic potential and started their studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2013.

We are pleased to offer scholarships to all international students starting their studies in the Faculties of Arts, Engineering, Science and the School of Law in September 2013:

International Santander Undergraduate Scholarships 2013
There are two University of Sheffield Santander Undergraduate Scholarships 2013. These scholarships are available for students starting their undergraduate degree in any faculty at the University. Each scholarship will take the form of a £3,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study only.
Postgraduate Scholarships eg MA, MSc
South America Sheffield Scholarship 2013
We are pleased to offer the South America Sheffield Scholarship 2012 to all South American students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2013.
The scholarships are:
- £1,000 each for students studying Nanotechnology courses (jointly run with the University of Leeds)
- £1,500 each for students paying fees between £12,760 - £14,680
- £2,000 each for students paying fees of £14,681 and upwards
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your postgraduate taught masters programme in September 2013.
- You must be a South American national or permanently domiciled in South America.
- You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes.
- The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required.
- The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
- The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying via Distance Learning are not eligible for the scholarships.
The University of Sheffield Santander Postgraduate Scholarship 2013 (£5,000)
We are very proud of our association with Santander and their support for University of Sheffield students through their Santander Universidades scheme.
There are five University of Sheffield Santander Postgraduate Scholarships 2013, available for students starting their postgraduate taught masters degree studies in September 2013.

The University of Sheffield does not offer research studentships specifically for Colombian students. There are, however, studentships and funding for which students from Colombia can apply.
