Part-time work
International students are now legally entitled to work in the UK for up to twenty hours during term-time.
We recommend no more than 10-12 hours a week for part-time work.
Your studies will take up a lot of your time when you are here and it is important to make them your priority.
The Student Union Job Shop has details of term-time and vacation job opportunities available in Sheffield. You can search the Careers Service vacancy database, get help and advice on preparing job applications and access information about working as a student.
The Job Shop is a joint initiative between the Students' Union and the Careers Service.
