Students' Union
In UK universities the Students' Union is the centre of student life. This is where you'll find support services, shops, advice centres and entertainment.
Sheffield's Union is consistently rated as one of the best in the UK. Run by students for students, the Union gives everyone the chance to contribute. A team of elected officers take care of students´ interests and make sure your voice is heard.
When you become a Sheffield student, you automatically become a member of the Students´ Union. For many of our international students, the Union is what makes their experience so memorable.
Located in the heart of the campus, the Union's shops, cafes and bars are open seven days a week, from breakfast into the night. There are club nights every night of the week attracting big name DJs and bands from around the world. There's also a bank, and even a cinema.
