• If a webchat covers a specific subject (i.e. accommodation for international students) we request you to limit your questions to that particular subject. Of course you can chat privately to other users about any other queries you may have.
• The University of Sheffield cannot guarantee the completeness and accuracy of the information provided during the webchat and/or in individual posts by any user logged onto the webchat.
• The University of Sheffield does not review the posts on the webchat and the views expressed therein, apart from those posted by University of Sheffield employees, are solely those of the webchat users and may not necessarily reflect those of The University of Sheffield, its employees, affiliates or representatives.
• The University of Sheffield is not responsible for the content of the posts or the information contained therein, nor do we make any claims, promises or guarantees about the accuracy, suitability or completeness of any of the information provided in the posts. You use the advice and information provided at your own risk. When in doubt, do contact us separately by email.
• By entering our chatroom you agree that you are solely responsible for any (financial) claims that may be the result of your posts/submissions.
• You are expected not to post anything that may be regarded as offensive to other webchat users, that contains bad language, is discriminatory or that has the intention to be purposely inflammatory or could otherwise be deemed inappropriate.
• Under no circumstance should our webchat users give out personal details or personal identifiable information to other users on the webchat. Likewise, the University of Sheffield will never give out any personal information to any users of the webchat.
