LLB Law

I study Law, which despite it being quite the challenging course, I think is an absolutely brilliant course, because it is a broad academic subject and I would therefore be in a position to get into different job sectors, depending on where my interests lie when I graduate.

Sheffield´s lovely! What struck me personally was how friendly and helpful the people generally, which is not anything to take for granted.

I chose Sheffield because it is internationally recognised and is reputed for its teaching quality and research and I would therefore be in a position to compete in the international job market, and for me safety is a key issue, and it has been rated as one of the safest cities in the U.K.

I hardly ever have spare time with my course workload, but when I have to let some steam off, I get up to anything random that the University Union´s well organised "give it a go" programme has for the day, or really get that adrenaline going with a good one on one basketball game with a friend.

Leaving home is always the most difficult part, your family and friends, especially when you live a whole continent away. Plus you can´t just have that great home cooked meal delivered by DHL!

I would recommend that you bring an umbrella, and great big coat is a must! It will take a while to adjust if you´re from a tropical region. Aside from that, just to have an open mind, get ready to balance yourself as an individual, and brace yourself for an unparalleled experience that is the discovery of self at every level!
