Last Saturday on October 13th was Intro Fiesta. Every year Intro Fiesta is held
in the Octagon and is an international party hosted by the International
Students Committee (ISC). The night kicked off with many games and stalls such
as Sumo Wrestling, Rodeo Bull, Duel Gladiators, Henna Tattoos, Calligraphy,
Face Painting and much more.
The night also featured live acts; capoeira, blues and a band called Bison.
Around 11:30 pm the international disco started featuring both English and
songs from around the world. Around 800 people came to Intro Fiesta making it a
very lively and enjoyable event!
Intro Fiesta is a great way to meet people not only from home but from all
around the world! I have been to Intro Fiesta twice already and plan on going
to Intro Fiesta next year as well.
