General information

These pages hold most of the general information that you will need as a student in the Department of Information Studies. Some general information is still available on our Departmental Intranet, but this is all in the process of being transferred over to these main pages.

For the teaching materials related to specific modules, please access MOLE (My Online Learning Environment), which you can reach via MUSE, the University of Sheffield's web portal. Student Handbooks

At the beginning of each academic year you will receive a paper copy of your Student Handbook, which contains key information taken from these web pages. You can access pdf versions of the paper handbooks s via the Downloads box on the right:
