Older Adults Use and Preferences for Telephone Helplines and Internet Resources
I chose to stay on in Sheffield having done my master's here because I have experienced excellent supervision and support for my research and it has given me the opportunity to work with innovative and creative academics in my field. The Information School is a friendly and supportive environment that provides excellent academic programmes covering various interesting aspects of research within the discipline. I´m really enjoying my time here.

The variations and the changes in the school libarians' conceptions of information literacy
I transferred to Sheffield University Information School because I have been inspired by my supervisor, ideas and way of research and the great reputation of the school´s staff and environment. As soon as I reached to Sheffield I was able to find a job and the school itself offered me an extensive opportunity to teach. Although I am pleased that I will be finishing my PhD soon, I will be very sad to leave Sheffield - the University and the city.

Data Mining for Drug Discovery
Since arriving at Sheffield´s Information School, I have been pleasantly surprised with how friendly, helpful and enthusiastic everyone has been which has always made me feel at home. This along with some exceptional supervision has both guided and encouraged me to learn a number of new skills including programming in Java, and allowed me to participate in many activities which would previously have been a daunting prospect including attending/helping out at conferences and presenting my work in seminars/journal clubs.

The Contribution of Information Seeking Behaviour on the Students' Academi Performance in High Institution of Learning in Uganda
The staff and research students in the Information School are so hospitable which makes me feel at home away from home. The University of Sheffield provided unique opportunities through the Research Teaching Programme including Study Skills, Academic Writing and Essential Computing; world class Library and Information Services; the Student Union including Student Advisory Services all of which have contributed to a fruitful research experience.
Over the past two years I have accumulated a wealth of research skills that I am confidently conducting my research with a target of finishing in December 2011.
