Placement Year

The Informatics programme allows you to take a year out during your course to work in industry. This can enhance your skills and employability, and give you the chance to put academic theory into practice. For more information see the DEE Website.

Internships

Each year students will have the opportunity to undertake (unpaid) work in an area related to Informatics within a local organisation. Students will spend up to 1½ days a week for one semester, undertaking a specified piece of work, which will be equivalent to a 20-credit module.
