For the best experience, we recommend you attend both a University open day (before you apply) and a Department open day (when you have been made an offer).

University open days

This is your chance to get a feel for the University, the city and student life in Sheffield. University open days are arranged centrally and include tours of the campus and facilities, talks from staff, and plenty of opportunity to chat to both staff and students. Information School Department open days

If you are made an offer, you will automatically be invited by email to one of our Undergraduate Open Days, which this year take place on the following dates:

• Wednesday 8th March 2013
• Friday 12th April 2013

You will receive more detailed information in advance of the day, including exact times, directions and locations, but the Open Day is your opportunity to:

• look around the Information School
• (for dual degree applicants) talk with an academic member of Management School staff
• hear about the degree programme you're applying for
• chat with us here at the School and ask any questions you may have
• visit the outstanding accommodation at the Endcliffe Student Village
• see our award-winning Students' Union and Information Commons
