AHRC Scholarships

The final deadline for applying for AHRC funded studentships is 12 noon UK time, 29 March 2013. Please note that in order to be considered for an AHRC PPM award in Journalism Studies, you must also apply to the University for admission to an appropriate programme of study.

Scott Trust Bursaries

The Scott Trust Ltd, owner of Guardian Media Group plc, offers bursaries at The University of Sheffield each year for aspiring journalists to study for a postgraduate qualification in newspaper journalism (2 bursaries) web journalism (1 bursary) or broadcast journalism (up to 2 bursaries).

The George Viner Memorial Trust was set up by the National Union of Journalists to broaden the diversity of journalists working within the media in the UK and Ireland. The funding round opens in May and the deadline for applications is in August each year.
