Kaye Carl

Kaye joined the Department to teach shorthand in 2002, after being employed for a number of years by the Sheffield College as Senior Lecturer.

She acquired her Business Administration skills in York and worked for Barclays Bank PLC and was PA to the Senior Director.

After completing a CertEd, and later a Bed at Huddersfield, she started teaching, among other subjects, Shorthand to Trainee Journalists, and began her long association with the NCTJ Shorthand examinations.

She is highly experienced having taught three systems of shorthand, Pitman New Era, Pitman 2000 and Teeline, over the past 25 years.
