Matt Robson
Broadcast Journalism tutor

Matt has been teaching in the department since September 2002 sharing his knowledge of editing and camera work with both post and undergraduate students.
He holds a BSC in Pure and Applied Physics from the University of Manchester and an MA in Documentary film and television from Sheffield Hallam University. His career in journalism started in 1988 when he joined BBC news and current affairs as a trainee editor and quickly became an editor working on all their output from Breakfast News to Newsnight.
After moving to Sheffield he continued to work for the BBC as a camera person and editor on local and national news programmes until 2002.
Matt continues to make films for local charities and companies as well as teaching in the Department of Journalism Studies.
