About the Network
At first sight this research strand could be seen to be limited to concepts concerning the law of obligations but the intention is to instead focus on laws, norms, rules and regulations surrounding "obligations" in their broadest sense thereby allowing common research interests to be identified across the department. It may also allow for multi-disciplinary research with other colleagues in other scholarly disciplines.
About the Launch
The intention of the event is to allow colleagues who are interested in joining this research network to meet together to share their perspectives on obligations so that common research interests can be identified and a programme/programmes of potential events can begin to be developed.
You will see that the scope of the invitation for the launch event is very wide and goes beyond purely legal issues. This is deliberate in the hope that we might also be able to identify shared collaborative research opportunities lying at the frontiers of our respective research areas.
We do hope you feel this launch event of Dimensions of Obligations will be of interest to you. As an added incentive festive refreshments will also be provided.
