Academic Profile
I qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and specialised in general and personal injury litigation before moving to the University of Sheffield in 1997. I initially taught on the Legal Practice Course and more recently have also started teaching on the Graduate Diploma in Law course.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Teaching and Learning
I teach on the Legal Practice Course and on the Graduate Diploma in Law course. I concentrate on ensuring students can not only understand the area of law they are studying but can also use and apply it effectively where appropriate.
