| The Library runs a regular free minibus service to the British Library Document Supply Centre at Boston Spa to give staff and students of the University the opportunity to use the extensive collections housed there. Visits are scheduled each semester and some during vacations. Posters are displayed around the Library giving the dates. Bookings are taken on a first-come-first-served basis and, as there is usually a full waiting list, we charge a fine for failure to turn up without prior notice. |
| The BL Bus is provided for academic staff, researchers and students of the University of Sheffield carrying out research in relation to their course or employment at the University. External borrowers, and staff and students carrying out personal research, may use the bus when places are available and may not order items in advance. Priority will be given to those pursuing work for the University of Sheffield. |
