Resource list contacts: support for Academic staff
The improved automated reading list system, myResource lists, allows us to include web links to electronic resources such as databases and full-text journal articles in addition to items physically held in the library stock. To reflect this enhanced capability we are now referring to reading lists as resource lists and you can find a link in the Quick links box on the Library homepage and also from our Star catalogue. Our aim is to provide an electronic version of your list which we can structure in any way you wish e.g. week by week or by seminar topic.
Please send us copies of your Autumn & Spring Semester reading lists as soon as they are available, even if they have not changed from last year, so that we can update our information and add any items, such as journal articles, not previously included. We prefer lists electronically but we can also accept them in print format. Students will find it helpful if you indicate the priority for each item on the list e.g.
- Recommended student purchase
- Essential Reading
- Additional Reading
Please include the module number, title and the module leader’s name. Please give us an idea of the expected student number, this will help us decide upon the best loan status and the number of copies needed.
