EQUIS  Accredited

EQUIS, the European Quality Improvement System, is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. In its evaluation, EQUIS considers all programmes offered by an institution from the first degree up to the PhD. EQUIS accreditation is an indicator of high quality in all dimensions of a School’s activities with a specific focus on internationalisation, academic quality and effective interaction with the corporate world. EQUIS attaches particular importance to the creation of an effective learning environment which successfully fosters managerial skills, entrepreneurial skills and global responsibility. It also looks for innovation in all respects, including programme design and pedagogy.

AMBA Accredited

The Association of MBAs assesses and benchmarks the quality of MBA programmes around the world. Accreditation is awarded after an in-depth analysis of the school, its programmes and staff and incorporates the views of current students, alumni, corporate clients and employers. Fewer than 200 Business Schools worldwide have received this award.

Our School has AMBA accreditation for its full-time and part-time MBA programmes and MSc Management. The accreditation means that potential students can feel confident that they will receive high quality provision and that their qualification will have international recognition and value.

Our MSc in Human Resource Management is accredited by CIPD, the premier professional HR body in the UK. This accreditation enables students to apply for new Associate member status or Chartered member status on completion of their degree Membership also gives students access to the networking opportunities and key contacts which will benefit their future careers.

CIMA, ACCA and ICAEW

All our Accounting and Financial Management Courses are accredited by the three major professional bodies. All students who complete their programmes are eligible for exemptions for all foundation courses. Membership of a professional body is essential to a career in accounting and finance. Our School gives students the best possible start in their professional careers by helping them get those first crucial stages of accreditation.

Accreditation from Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Consulting

Our MBA, Executive MBA and MSc Management (including pathway degrees) are accredited by CMI. Our MBAs – both full-time and part-time – also have accreditation from the Institute of Consulting. While students are on campus they are entitled to student membership as well as additional support via study materials, a the biggest management library in Europe, easy access to research and industry experts, an extensive specialised job board and the CMI magazine. Upon graduation, students qualify for a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.

Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

Students gain affiliate membership of CIM when joining the MSc Marketing programmes and full membership on completion. New members may become Chartered Marketers through the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma based on 35 hours continued personal development after the programme and on having obtained three years relevant work experience.

British Psychological Society (BPS)

Our MSc in Occupational Psychology is accredited by the BPS which enables students to proceed towards chartered occupational psychologist status. It is also recognised by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) as fulfilling their requirement for the first year of their 1 + 3 doctoral training.

Member of the Association of Business Schools (ABS)

The Association of Business Schools is the professional body which represents all leading business schools within the UK. Our close working relationship with ABS means that we are part of an interactive community working to define and develop the highest standards in quality of provision.
