International Collaboration and Student Mobility Opportunities
|
The School has a range of working relationships with a number of other Universities throughout the world. These range from collaborative links that involve summer schools for our MSc students (Linköping - Sweden, Austria W U Vienna) to student exchange initiatives (S.P. Jain – India) and jointly awarded programmes (HKBU – Hong Kong, Singapore Institute of Management – Singapore and the Sino-British College - Shanghai). The School highly values the potential for its students to gain an international educational experience whilst studying in Sheffield. For those students studying at one of our European partners there is currently a complete waiver of tuition fees payable to Sheffield during this year abroad. In addition students are eligible to apply for a non-means tested Erasmus grant to assist with living expenses. Students studying outside Europe currently have 50% of their tuition fees waivered during their year abroad. All students studying overseas do not have to pay any tuition fees to the host university. All our overseas partners deliver modules in English. BA IBM students can apply to study for the full year at the following European universities through the Erasmus program:
