Student Life
The Management School is based on Mappin Street, between the University's main campus and Sheffield City Centre. The main campus, including the Students' Union, is approximately five minutes walk away from the School, while a five minute walk in the other direction will take you to the vibrant centre of the city.
As a Management School student you will be ideally placed to make the most of the University’s facilities, while taking advantage of all that the City of Sheffield has to offer.
Students Union
Our Students Union was voted the best in the UK in the most recent Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey. Through the Union you have access to a huge range of student societies that cater for just about every sport and hobby.
The city
The city of Sheffield is regarded as a desirable place to both study and live. We have a world-class University and although Sheffield is a major city it has kept its strong sense of community.
Just around the corner from Mappin Street is West Street, which is one of the main centres of student social activity. West Street is home to a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars and is a popular meeting place for students.
