Prof Keith Glaister

Professor Glaister leads the Management School, chairing both its Strategy Board and Management Team. To this role he brings a wide range of research, teaching and practical experience. As a leading researcher in the field of international strategic management, he has published 5 books and over 80 articles and book chapters. As a teacher he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students, both in the UK and overseas, and has supervised several PhD students to successful completion. He came to Sheffield from a Chair at Leeds University Business School where he served as Head of the Management Division, Associate Dean for Learning & Teaching and Faculty Pro-Dean for Learning and Teaching. He is an Editorial Board member of the British Journal of Management and several other journals. He was recently re-elected to be a member of the Council of the British Academy of Management. He became an academician of the Academy of Social Sciences at the end of 2009. He is a member of the Academic Board of Ashridge Business School and the International Advisory Board of IESEG School of Management in Lille.
