The University has an impressive variety of accommodation, ranging from modern purpose-built flats to converted Victorian town houses. Living away from home for the first time is one of the major transitions to be made when you come to University. For this reason, the University guarantees a place in University-managed accommodation to all single first year undergraduates, provided you have accepted your University place as firm choice by the July of the year of your admission. Over 90% of all first year students choose to live in University-owned accommodation.
