“The Management School at Sheffield is at a crucial stage of its evolution. The School has improved its research output and quality (ranked joint 16th in the 2008 RAE) and we are striving to move up the rankings in the REF in 2014.

The School has AMBA accreditation for its MBA, Executive MBA and MSc in Management programmes. We achieved accreditation from EQUIS in late 2011 and from AACSB in early 2012. Students at the School also benefit from accreditations from an extensive range of professional associations. As the reputation of the School has increased, student numbers have followed suit with undergraduate numbers currently standing at 1,300 and postgraduate numbers of 500.

In line with the School’s status as a member of the elite triple-accredited Business Schools, the University has recognised the need for significant investment in new infrastructure. As a result the School has relocated to a new world-class teaching, learning and business engagement facility.

Our continued investment in staff will only help us build on this success. We seek to appoint outstanding individuals who wish to work with us to take the School to the next level of success.”

To support new members of staff the School offers:

We would also favourably consider research groups wishing to relocate and we can tailor packages to suit the circumstances.
