We cordially invite you to join us for the 34th Annual Cement and Concrete Science Conference, hosted by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, The University of Sheffield.
The conference will provide an opportunity for academic researchers, students and industrialists to meet and discuss their research on topics including:
-      Hydration and microstructure of Portland cement and blended cements
-      Alternative binders and their application as cements and concretes
-      Durability testing of concretes based on Portland and non-Portland cements
-      Structural and thermal performance of concrete materials
-      Waste re-use in cements and concretes
-      Cementitious materials for nuclear waste applications
-      Sustainability issues related to cement and concrete production and utilisation

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts (up to 200 words) are now being accepted for both oral and poster presentations; these should be submitted by email: ccs2014@sheffield.ac.uk. The deadline for submission of abstracts is Monday 31 March 2014. Full papers will be required for all oral and poster presentations, prepared according to the template which will be provided on the conference website, with a submission deadline of Monday 14 July 2014.
