SUMAC and MARCUS

The Materials Advice and Research Centre University of Sheffield (MARCUS), and the Sheffield University Metals Advisory Centre (SUMAC) are professional consultancy, testing and analysis services, based on the facilities and experience of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.

Both have been established for many years under separate commercial names. The services have now been integrated, the names are retained because SUMAC and MARCUS have their own customers.
