Kuang-Che (Shine) Hsiao
email : dtp09kh@sheffield.ac.uk

Shine obtained his B.S. (2003) and M.S. (2005) from Yuan Ze University (YZU) and National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) in Taiwan. He then worked as an associate researcher for the Department of Energy Nanomaterials, Material & Chemical Research Lab., Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) where he participated in many projects on synthesis, processing and characterizations of nanoparticles for UV-shielding, super-hydrophobic coating, solar cell and Li-ion battery applications.
Shine is now on the four year E-Futures PhD programme and his main research subjects are the development of new cathode and anode electrode materials for high energy and power density Lithium-ion batteries.
