The Sheffield MBA is flexible: tailor your programme to your strengths and interests
Teaching: Lively, varied and interactive, you’ll experience a blend of lectures, discussions, business simulations/games, business case analyses, student presentations, visiting speakers and business visits
Group exercises: These will help you identify your core strengths and skills. Most group exercise are located in the stunning scenery of the Peak District National Park
Project work: Your project can be either research focused ie explore ideas and techniques or practice-based ie analyse, explore, address a specific problem in a real organisation
Support: Your learning will be amply supported by detailed handouts and online learning support materials. You can access university libraries, computers and specialist careers support. Our Information Commons facility is open 24/7 and has over 500 PCs and wi-fi throughout
Staff-Student support /personal tutor: If you need support with academic or non-academic issues you can raise these with our Staff-Student Group or your personal tutor. If you need any further help or specialist provision, we have professionals on campus who are there to help.
Support with English: To get the most out of your programme you need good written and spoken English. If your undergraduate degree was not taught in English, you’ll need IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.
