The MBB-Post Doc Society

Welcome to the web pages of the Post-Doc Society of the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. The society was established in May 2007. Membership of the society is assumed for all contract research staff working within MBB at the University of Sheffield though any member of staff wishing to opt out may do so at any time. The society committee holds monthly meetings which any post doc or contract research staff member in the department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology is welcome to attend.

The objectives of the Society are:

• To act as a professional society for contract research staff within MBB
• To promote the interests of MBB contract research staff within both the Department and the University of Sheffield
• To facilitate training and career development for MBB Contract Research Staff
• To facilitate communications between contract research staff in both professional and social contexts
