Applying for Postgraduate Resarch Programmes
Entry requirements
Normally a first class or upper second class honours degree from an approved institution in an appropriate engineering or science subject. Applicants with other qualifications are encouraged to contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies at me-pgadmit@sheffield.ac.uk.
English requirements for overseas applicants are:
- IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 6 in each component)
- TOEFL 91 (IBT) with at least 22 in reading, 23 in speaking, and 21 in listening and writing
